Hi all

I use Vista Home on my laptop. Almost once a week I get the message of "automatic upgrades " or "Upgrades waiting to be Installed" etc etc. Though I still have lot of space, my C drive is getting slowly bloated..Please tell me if the latest upgrade has been installed, the older one has to kept or deleted.

For example :

1.JAVA SE RUNTIME ENVIRO 6 5.08.2007 - 115MB
2.JAVA 6 UDPATE 3 14.11.2007 - 112MB
3.JAVA 6 UPDATE 5 12.03.2008 - 133MB
4.JAVA 6 UPDATE 7 15.10.2008 - 136MB
5.JAVA 6 UPDATE 13 27.05.2009 - 99.5MB

MSCU FOR VISTA 5.08.2007 - 24.3MB
MSXML4.0SP2(KB936181) 27.10.2007 - 1.26 MB
MSXML4.0SP2(KB941833) 28.10.2007 - 1.26 MB
MSXML4.0SP2(KB954430) 13.11.2008 - 1.27 MB

I would appreciate your help

Thanks

You can remove older versions of Java. Check this link for more info:
However, it is better to keep those different MSXML versions as different apps may depend of different versions of MSXML.

Latest version of java is version 6 update 14! So get that! Also if you are not coding in Java no need to keep it. Just get JRE 6 and you would be fine!
