Through casual googling i came to know that a Laptop's performance can be boosted drastically by adding external pci-e cards using ExpressCards..
How reliable it is ? And is there anything like, it is possible only if the laptop has integrated gfx chip ?
Can you guys tell me your opinions about this ?

i even saw some youtube videos, but none of them clearly explained as through which port the output from the laptop is taken.. they just plug in 'that thing' into some port on laptop..
