Need all round laptop for around 55k .

around 55K


2) What size & weight consideration (if any) would you prefer?

15" would be enough unless i can get bigger laptops for the same budget
touchpad with win8 gesture support


3) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
a. Like: Samsung



4) What are the primary tasks will you be performing with this notebook?
intense Gaming and application development, nvidia 650 is the the bare minimum performance i want.


5) What screen resolution(s) & type (glossy/matte) would you prefer?

900p preferred , dont know the difference between glossy/matte, some explanation would be nice


Guys,

after some research im a bit confused between these two modelsSamsung NP550P5C-S06IN and Samsung NP550P5C-S04IN
s06IN is having the new upgraded cpu(i5 3230), but apart from that whats the difference on these two? i dont see any major difference.

i have finalised the above two lappys from samsung (550p series) , would also welcome any other suggestions.

i would suggest you to get s06 because of number of reasons.
1-i5 3230 and in s04 its 3210
2-blue ray and in s04 its dvd wr.
3-screen resolution is better than s04
4-90watt adapter and in s04 its 65watt.
price difference is only 3k.
you dont buy laptop everyday so,go with s06.

both laptops has 900p screen display right? what else is different on display?

its new i think , i saw the date of release as june 2013 somewhere.

thanks for the reply, the cpu also upgraded in 06 right? , im not going to use blueray any time soon though. btw do you know any details about touchpad gestures support on windows8? i need badly :)
