Need Advice on GPU

hello friends,

i need your advice on selecting GPU for the following config

Proc: intel core i3
MOb : intel Dh55TC
PSU: corsair 450W
RAM : kingston 4GB
monitor : samsung

main purpose: multimedia, gaming (medium level), Movies (HD), TV tuner.

Budget :6k(can extend)

How much can you extend?

Sapphire HD5770 @Rs.7200

Up your budget by 3.5k and get the radeon 6850 @ 9.5k. Its the best midrange gpu at the moment.

If you can't up the budget that much then nvidia geforce gtx 460 768mb @ 8k will be great.

The last option is again the radeon 5770 @ 7k.
Pick your gpu accordingly.

HD5770 will fit my budget..is it futureproof..may for atleast 2yrs.

what about HD movie watching and HD gaming incase i get a large screen monitor in future.

also suggest me the brand sapphire or msi

Go for Sapphire HD 5770. It is a decent GPU. . .

Can't extend more than 1.5k, then get HD5770 @ 7.5k

Can extend 3.5k, then get 6850 @ 9.5k

If you'r PSU is VX450W one, it's more than enough to handle these cards. If not, then get FSP Saga II 500 W @ 2.2k.
