My old 320 GB WD cavier blue gone dead.
right now having another 320 WD working, I need a New HDD.

Suggest a good HDD. 500 GB, Budget 3.5k [with links]
Consideration - WD cavier Black

Black > Blue > Green.

sorry man, the discount is over. The price is 3.8k. Even at that price you should get for 300 more, you are getting double capacity (1TB as compaerd to 500 GB)

Yes, thats fk's mistake. Its around 150 MB/s (please take case of B and b) for both. Always check product specifications from the manufacturer's website.

Also note that speed of the hard disk is dependent on the location on data. Region near the outer circumference of platter is the fastest and vice versa. This is for the same reason that os is always installed in c drive, which is typically the outer most region of hard disk.
