1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: Would play games such as Nfs, Fifa 13 on medium settings and will also use it for everyday purposes.

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans: Can extend it to 37K

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: No

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: Windows 7

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: 500 GB is enough

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: Yes, I would like to have a decent and cheap monitor.

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: I will reuse keyboard and mouse.

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: ASAP

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: It will be done by assembler.

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: I live in bhopal and would try to buy components locally and if it is not available I can buy it from flipkart.

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: I don't know much about pc components and currently I have a laptop and obviously they are not too good for gaming. So I would need some help to build a mid-gaming rig in a budget.

Any monitor around 20 inches will work fine for me if it fits in my budget.
Btw thanks for your help, your config looks great to me.

^^ You have suggested a K proccy with a B75 chipset. Though the proccy is highly clockable the chipset wont be able to to do it. Since its gaming and he wont overclock he will be way better with a set up like this.....

Intel i3 2120 - Rs 6900
Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H - Rs 4300
Corsair Value Select 4GB - Rs 1100
GPU - Gigabyte GV-R777OC-1GD 1 GB GDDR5 - Rs 8500
HDD - WD Caviar Blue 500GB - Rs 3400
SMPS - Corsair CX430V2 - Rs 2450
Cabinet - CM Elite - Rs 1700
Display - BENQ G2222HDAL LED Monitor (Full HD 1920 x 1080) - Rs 7650
OPD - Samsung SH-S 223F - Rs 975

Total - Rs 36,975.

^^ It will be expensive friend with a supporting H77 motherboard. The i5 2400 with a H77 mobo will cost at least Rs 17500. And then everything else. For gaming at that budget an i3 with a powerful gpu is more like it.

saze017 here...quite a go
amd fx4300 (wait till December for it)@6.8-7k
gigabyte 880 d2h@3.7k
g.skill ripjawsX 4gb ddr3@1.4k
nzxt source 210@2.7k frm primeabgb or itdepot
wd caviar blue 1tb@4.3k
corsair vs550@3.1k(I've used it and its awesome 85% efficiency and 42amps on +12 rail plus its deadly silent)
GPU :gigabyte hd7850 2gb@12.5k or 1gb for 11.3k if you're on 1080p if less then better buy an hd7770 for 8.2k
or if you want intel then replace...
i5 2400/i5 3450@9.5k-10.5k
gigabyte b75-d2h@4.4k
ohh I forgot the monitor
so just replace the gpu with hd7770 and psu with vs450@2.3k(don't buy i5 for hd7770 unless you're planing on getting a hd7970 on a 20" display, so the fx4300 will serve you well )
and buy a 20" lg/dell/Samsung or whatever around 6k
