my TV tuner software( WINDVR ) cannot catch all the channels

my TV tuner software( WINDVR ) cannot catch all the channels......THERE R MORE CHANNELS ON THE TV BUT LESS I AM GETTING ON MY PC . help please ..................what to do ? I am using WinDVR .

Use the region as india , donot select other regions as the frequencies differ and you wont get all the channels. the other problem may be that your signal isnt powerful.

TV's have additonal signal filters and boosters built into them,but TV tuners have none,so they simply reject the signals that are not strong enough.
