pretty cool.....is it worth trying out ? i mean compared to the features of red hat and fedora....but still the fat32 file system seems quite inviting!
i thought klinux was making his own distro.....somthin like the revolutionary post by linus trovalds....

They are slow, due to lack of developers, but certainly not dead.... Debian released Hurd K7 release sometime back....

ok new term for today is "HURD"
i am guessing someone by the name HURD , could be german , created something like linux ? whats it , why nothing abt it is written in any mag .

@GNU : ppl all over forum seem to be upset of lack of tech in mag . from Gnu/Linux side , what do u think they should carry to help linuxers ??

read this:

Hurd is not taken from anyone's name. read this quote:
According to Thomas Bushnell, BSG, the primary architect of the Hurd:

`Hurd' stands for `Hird of Unix-Replacing Daemons'. And, then, `Hird' stands for `Hurd of Interfaces Representing Depth'. We have here, to my knowledge, the first software to be named by a pair of mutually recursive acronyms.

Its not stable yet. And magazines generally write what's hot. And not what's going to be revolutionary
