ya...u r right I mistook 920 as BE...but it is know as a better performer. btw all BEs r not dat easy to O.C., X2 7750BE is an example for dat

X2 7750BE was a 65nm AMD CPU. Most in this category suck for OCing.

Anyway, unless gaming is the only thing you want to do, I think 920 is better than 720. Much less a gamble. But for gamers, it makes a lot more sense to get 720BE and OC it to over 4GHz.

And see if you can get that batch with unlockable core.
After unlock, the best OC till now was only 3.1GHz, rather I'd get the X4 920.
X4 920 goes to 3.75GHz stock cooling, X4 940 BE goes to 3.9GHz stable, 4.2Ghz(but unstable). So I think the best bet is X4 920.

For graphics - 4870 with 1 GB GDDR5 is best..
Go for Jetway HA 07 Ultra mobo.. its damn awesome.. supports crossfire.. based on AMD 790 chipset.. and is definitely a looker..
I dun really need CFx, but I'll be going for the Biostar 790GX for about Rs. 4,600 only!!

As about HD4870, the GTX260 from Palit is stock OCed, cheaper than HD4870 1GB Palit dual sonic by Rs. 800, and the best part:-
-Palit GTX260 speeds beat a Sapphire HD4980(Core -901Mhz, Memory - 4000MHz).
-Bottom line, GTX260 is the winner here.

X2 7750BE was a 65nm AMD CPU.
One peculiar thing about his procc is that it has everything similar(same) as the X3 8x50 CPUs and X4 9xx0 CPUs, only with two cores.
I was wondering, if someone tried the "Advanced Clock Calibration" trick on this CPU, what if it became a X4 xxxx, just a thought.

Well, most of the shops like Computer Empire and Cost by Cost are usually of everyday needs, like Pentium Dual Core, 9500GT, and the rest.

These are the two most popular shops, and anyone will tell you where they are. THey are on the 1st floor. But just towards the right of these shops, there's a big "ViewSOnic" banner, and a shop, which is more colourful than the rest.
When I entered there, I saw only high end components, and I knew that I had reached my destination.

Yeah its 790 GX based.. i couldn't find a board with single PCI-E slot with 790 GX chipset.. otherwise i would've gone for it.. the other thing is that it should be cheaper than Jetway board..

I guess you are speaking about SMC computers...I had walked in...he has good stuff..but could not find the 4870 Dual sonic (1 GB). Also he was quoting a Asus P5NQ-E for 11K -- and mentioned it has a nVidia chipset...!!!!!!

Though have you picked up anything from SMC..??
