My laptop shutting down automatically

i'm using Samsung RV 509 laptop..i'm a graphic designer..when i open a big file in photoshop...it turns off..help me guys..i can't finish my work in time

Maybe cpu gets overheated and thus shuts down.

Just speculating though, but do check the temps.

Looks like a overheating problem. Usually opening the bottom access door (or what ever they are called) just below the fan and blowing air should clean the dust. But be carefull, you might lose warranty.

Can be because of 2 reasons
Either it's overheating
or due to failing hardware at which case you wont be able to do much
If it's the former, get it serviced or you can attempt it yourself by unscrewing the fan and cleaning it with alcohol..
Trust me its really easy

Most probably, its an heating issue only. Follow papul1993's method or you can also use iso-propyl alcohol to clean as suggested by Neravarine if it is very dirty.
