Motorola Fire - new launch - 262K screen ?

Hi,

Has anybody seen new launches from Motorola. the Fire XT311 looks quite good, except that if i am correct has a 262k color screen... how on earth motorola can have such a screen for a new phone..

Any reviews/users of this phone ?

its an entrylevel mobile & 262/256k colour is absolutely ok. main part is the resolution. it has a 3.5" screen with 320X480 resolution.

i actually think that cost of producing that mobile phone screens have come down so much that at this price point also motorola should have thought of having a better screen. only bump with this phone. That too when the similar priced Samsung pop and our very own Nokia ones have much better screens.. 16.7 million colors and all..

@sam : yeah with that resolution it won't be grainy or anything.. but would have loved a better screen..

Thinking on buying this one.. Anybody bought this mobile? , I have searched this online only. Have still check at a store.
