I used to use the default Windows XP picture slide show screensaver.
But the transition was not good. It was kinda jerky.
So I was looking for a directx based screensaver.
And found motion picture screensaver.
The screensaver uses directx technology and the transition is smooth.
The screensaver uses the images on the hard disk and displays them.
The effect is composed of panning the image around the screen and at the same time zooming the image around the screen.
When you use outer space images it feels like you are flying in the space.
It also can play audio. So add ambient MP3 and you will feel like really flying in the space.
It's really difficult to explain. Download the screensaver and see for yourself.
The screensaver is a freeware.
