4. is this for "fancy" bling or you actually require something like this?
5. does not matter.
6. use discrete card, better performance. only use on-board if you on a tight budget.

Asus M5A78L-M/U3 available for 4.3k on flipkart.

thankyou for suggestions but the above MB have 2 Ram slot only , I need 4

I can compromise on USB 3.

but Sata3, 4 memory slot and i

if only 2 slot I wouldvhave to sell current Module's and buy 2x 8gb which is a added expenses

Buddy, you have a 6 Core Processor and I suggest you to get a good true AM3+ motherboard. All the Am3+ motherboards which come with IGP are mainly based on AMD 760G and 880G (which you currently have) based chipset and support AM3+ processors through BIOS update. So get a good 970 chipset based motherboard and omit the IGP. My suggestion will be Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3 @ 5K. Don't get the cheap 760G based motherboards. The suggested motherboard will fill all your requirements like SATA III, USB 3.0, mild overclocking but lacks the IGP.

Op is asking for too much features for a tiny ( no offense meant ) .. seriously one should not even think about getting good OC support from a 4.5k mobo and here we are talking about a 6 core cpu. A mobo intended for OC should have vrm heatsink and Op should concentrate more on USB 3.0 rather than Sata 3 unless he is getting a SSD.

7) HIGH OC support ? [ Optional -Not
planning to use, Just basic OC

friend what I meant by this is O.C support is only optional , biut I won't be using O.Clocking

I will update my first post

As said in few post above features looking are

Am3+ socket (for future upgrablity to 8 core (6 months +)

Sata3. ( I am using multiple VMachines and raid so added speed will help me

Or in. realworld. performances between Sata 2. and sata 3. hard disk is minor ?
I know I won't be. able to utlize full sata 3 interface. bandwidth. due. to technically limitation

But are you suggesting. its not worth the upgrade?

If not I will skip idea of upgrading M.B. and buy some cheap M.B for my secondary PC. qnd i stick with my current M.b

USB 3. optional (Don't have any USB 3 except USB H.DD which is connected to. Asia n13ub1

OC- I am not interested in. O.C even

RAM. another must required uses 16 gb ram , need for my virtualization and other needs

Dual PCI e gfx slot. is not needed as I am never going to use 2 gfx card

Note- I don't think I need. VRM. cooling of it expensive

For information my current. pc even at. 95% load. all 6 core doesnt cross. 55 C. with. my AM cooler(thanks to all those who suggested it )

Listen, you are unncecessary making things complecated. Get the Gigabyte Motherboard I have suggesed as minimum for running 8 Core Processor. Theoritically you can put a FX-8350 in Gigabyte GA-78MLT-USB3 motherboard, retailing at 3.4K but will you do that. In High load there is ahigh chance of Motherboard getting damaged. Just let us know your maximum budget and we will suggest you the best solution. But your buddget should be 5K+ if you wanna upgrade to 8 core FX series in future.

for the difference between SATA 2 and SATA 3 using a HDD have a loom at this :
WD Caviar Black 640 GB: SATA II vs SATA III

for a HDD SATA 3 only helps in get peak throughput when reading from or writing into the drive’s cache memory.

1)
I noticed. gigabyte supports a feature called turbo xhd which automatically raid if two HDD is inserted

I have two HDD ,so will it automatically format my HDD and configure raid ?

2) MSI is. cheaper. also MSI uses. 8 pin CPU power connector instead of 4. pin 12v used in gigabyte , so msi is better.

3) Any know if msi have service center in kerala. ?
GIGABYTE Turbo XHD provides a quick and
easy way to boost your hard drive
performance. Just via the latest BIOS update,
Turbo XHD will automatically enabled when
the system detecting 2 new SATA3 HDDs and
providing users effortlessly to set up a RAID
0/Strip configuration.

yes read friend but missed the last line about Asus M.B

on my current M.B I am using Raid - stripping (2x 500 WD HDD) for improved VMWare performance ,) yes configuring Raid is easy ),

Now checking reviews about all mentioned board , will update my decision. today evening

thank you all
