Why do you want a motherboard?

You can get much better proccy than the current one. Athlon X3 along with a AM2+ mobo will cost 5.7k. So, better change the proccy along with the mobo too.
It will be much better deal.

For Graphics Card,
Radeon 5670 512MB at 5k will be good choice.

ATi Radeon 5550 -- 4.3k
nVIDIA GT 240 -- 4.2k

But if really under 4k required, then Radeon 4670 is a good choice else nVIDIA 9500GT. But these cards will play games only at low-mid resolution.
