Monitor plug not compatible with my ups

Right off the assembly line
I just bought a new lcd monitor lg flatron 19", the power adapter is not compatible wit my old ups as it has foreign sockets and my adapter has Indian pins, therefore i have to plug it into the spike guard, my problem is that whenever the electricity goes out so does my monitor. please help me

lets make it clear:
your ups is having foreign socket.

monitor power adapter has indian pin.

Your spike buster having indian sockets . you have inserted monitor power only in the spike.

and your cpu power cord is with the ups.

Just post a pic here of the LCD pin top.

If ur UPS output is foreign plug then UPS company must bundle the same type of cable at-least in number of two.....Use that instead of montitor's original one..If the UPS purchased in india,Go and claim to the dealer.

I'v seen this in Proview / PowerTree model.

Yes you got it absolutely right, my ups doesn't have indian sockets. All i need is a converter from indian to foreign
