Hey Guys,
I am a looking forward to buying a decent mid-range graphics card.
Here are more details on what I am looking for:
Budget:
5k - 10k
Usage:
I am a developer and I do a lot of image and video editing, coding etc. Infact, I have some of my created software running 24 hours a day on my PC. Besides this, I have atleast 1 Win 7 virtual machine running all the time.
I normally do not play games on my PC, so gaming is not a major requirement. I have my PS3, and Alienware M15X for that.
I also have a Sony Bravia 3D LED, so if the card can support 3D, it is a plus.
Current System Configuration:
Intel Core i7 920 Processor
Intel Desktop Board DX58SO Extreme
nVidia 9600 GT
Dell SP2208 WFP Monitor
Transcend 8GB (4GB X 2) DDR3 1333 Mhz
4.32 TB Storage
Corsair TX750 PSU
CoolerMaster Cabinet
Since I currently have a 9600GT, I am looking for a much better performing graphics card.
Please post your suggestions, and also let me know if it would be wise to go for 2 cards with CrossFire/SLI instead.
Thanks,
Krish
