Microsoft screwed up my Gamepad

I have an USB gamepad which was working fine until yesterday , till I patched Windows with the latest updates , one of which was about USB 2.0 mass storage devices.
After that whenever I connect my gamepad , it is detected as Gensys Mass USB Storage device and refuses to get installed.
Help would be appreciated in this matter.

uninstall the gensys drivers.

go 2 d microsoft site and download the latest drivers available for ur gamepad.

reinsert ur gamepad and this time select the downloaded drivers manually and try,

It was a problem with the Genesys mass storage driver.It is an OEM whose drivers are installed by Windows by default.I managed to trace and destroy all the files related to Genesys with the help of the registry.The gamepad is working fine now.
