My few friend did a three year course from Tata Infotech n they are in software market for 2 years.
They generally develope commercial software in VB.
But they now think to do MCA through a corespondence course.
So, what are the options for them, and pros-n-cons of different corespondence.
I would like to know specifically about corespondence course given by ICFAI.

If you choose distance education for MCA, IGNOU is way above any other institution in India. The syllabus is good but it is quite tough too.
However, its not exactly a correspondence course...its distance education. There's a difference between the two. You have to be attached to a study centre and attend at least the practicals classes with 70% attendance. Apart from that there are assignment submissions, viva and projects for which you need to be in constant touch with the study centre. Try to select a reputed study centre after making local enquiries.
