Is it possible to mark mails which I have read (in sify & yahoo) as unread so that I can respond to later.

Well you cant mark them as "Unread" but there is another thing you can do.
Select the box besides the desired mail and then click on the Mark button and select "Flag For Follow Up". A small flag will appear besides the mail. You can reply to later.
You can also select "Clear Flag" from the Mark button after you have replied.

why need title?
@cody a small correction m8.. u can mark it unread in Y! and MSN.. no idea bout sify haven used it.. jus see da screenie below..
