Making an Audio DVD

Broken In
I am using my music system(SONY 8yrs old). It can play cds but only audio cds, not data cds with mp3 files. So, I hooked up my DVD player through the audio in so that I could play through my system simultaneously being able to use data cds and dvds. It is not connected to any screen/TV/monitor.

If I burn an audiio cd it works fine. But the problem is it cannot accomodate more than 80 min. Similarly, audio dvd is not a popular format and most of the free softwares do not burn advds.
Now I am trying to burn data dvds with mp3s. But the problem is that it also burns some other album art and hidden folders which the dvd player sees and opens those images. Thus, I am not able to get continuous playback without seeing any screen.

Are you using the built-in cd/dvd burning software of Windows or some 3rd party software?
You can always de-select the unnecessary files(album art in your case) before burning.
