Making a VIDEO of my DESKTOP in SUSE 10.1 LINUX

Hi everyone,

Can anyone please tell how to record events taking place on my DESKTOP. I use SUSE 10.1 Linux. Actually I wanted to make a video of XGL effects (3D effects) of SUSE 10.1 LINUX desktop.
