I recently assembled my new computer, here is the config--

AMD FX8350
Sapphire 7770 HD DDR5 1GB
GIGABYTE DS3
KINGSTON HYPER-X 8GB
Corsair 650W
Corsair GAMEMAX 9602A

The problem is with 1TB WD Black. I am only getting around 18-20mBps write speeds with Tera Copy.

Please help.

Use this to check read speed: HD Tune website

PS: What files are you copying? Try a large file like a movie, and also use normal window copy and see.

From where you are copying and to where ??

Op, if you copy from a low speed (say 10 MB/s) device to a high speed (say 100 MB/s) device, you would still get just 10 MB/s, this is what we call a bottleneck. To truely measure your hard disk's speed, try some benchmarking tool like tkin suggested.
