1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?

Yes I will build it myself

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?

Punjab. Will buy locally and if needed will shop online

11. Anything else which you would like to say?

I shortlisted 3 processors
AMD FX 4100 @ 6.4k

Which one would be better and will Asus M5A88-M mobo be good with those AMD's?

Go with the i3 as you are noot going to do any cpu intensive tasks. It will give you a cool and equally good perfoming system.

i3 2100: 7k
Gigabyte H61M-D2H: 3k
RAM: 4GB DDR3 1333MHz: 1k
Get this one it will be good. And if you need a UPS then get the APC 600VA for around 1.3k.

^ no one hasn't suggested you Bulldozer. You've been suggested a Phenom II.

I asked about the bulldozer in the first post :) So I was asking again just in case someone missed it. What mobo should i go for?

Ok here is a suggestion -

AMD Phenom II X4 960T - 7k
Gigabyte G880GM-USB3 - 4.5k
Gskill Ripjaws 4GB 1600MHz - 1.8k
HD6670 - 5k

Also, before finalising any config, specify which Power Supply do you have? The actual Model Number, wattage and company.
