Looking for external DVD writer. Suggestions needed.

Could any of you pls suggest some ? along with how much they cost ??

Try Buffalo's DVD writer....it.s good..should cost around Rs.2000 or a little more.

Whatever normal one you buy it's not gonna stay alive for long unless you have good luck with it, when I purchased my HP 1260, Vedant told me it should go dead by 6 months, Prices have gone cheap, quality cheaper, my old ATA Sony ran for almost 3 years and was working same as new when I sold it, that's why I had paid 2k for that

I am getting a 2 yr. warranty on the Transcend slim portable DVD writer with a price tag of 1990/-

How is A.S.S. of Transcend in Delhi ??
Are the service center guys helpful ??
