I run a forum myself. There is change in behavior of online generation now. A lot of old forums have shut down and many have much smaller engagement now.
Only few big one like SkyscrapperCity and Team-BHP remain popular now.
One reason is much shorter attention span of the youth. Most want to get info in short time and like to consume info from Shorts, Reels, etc.
This is correct. Also with advent of AI tools, many solutions are received without even asking a real human.
Reels and vlogging becoming more popular than text based sites. This is sad but technology is moving to that way.
I think one strength of forums like Team-BHP is that there are a lot of quality reviews of cars which a lot of people are interested in. Perhaps we should also do something like that, write detailed and high-quality reviews.
Yes, without original content it would be tough to survive.
People should come is the expectation but what is the USP that TDF offers now? During it's prime days TDF used to have so many competitions, where are they now and what are they doing now?
Some college campus tech fest partnerships, OC challenges, incentives/rewards in some manner may be....begs monetary investment. Is the management ready or eager to do that?
India is just knocking on the door of online gaming. If government is bringing a bill means, it's becoming serious business now. Other than Digit there is hardly any brands catering dedicatedly here. SKOAR can grow I believe. More strategic partnerships needed.
