Well, we do our part. Login occasionally to check new posts and try to reply them.
And you should do yours. Be the change you want to see.

But it's all about network effect.

Need more enthusiastic members. Also, need more promotion: Ask your friends to join the forum.

Maybe it's because of the increased usage trend of AI chatbots.

Earlier people ask questions in the forum, wait for others to reply and discuss to arrive at a solution.
Now, you can just chat with the bot and get it clarified in seconds.

Is it possible to get an entry back in the main page of digit.in? I feel it would partially help. Having a working mobile application is another requisite. A webwrapper with notification feature is all that is needed.

I don't know if Xenforo forums have PWA support. I think it might come as part of a plugin.

I just access the website on the mobile browser.

Everything else I think only Digit staff can do.

I run a forum myself. There is change in behavior of online generation now. A lot of old forums have shut down and many have much smaller engagement now.
Only few big one like SkyscrapperCity and Team-BHP remain popular now.
One reason is much shorter attention span of the youth. Most want to get info in short time and like to consume info from Shorts, Reels, etc.

Yeah, that's kind of the trend going on. I guess only petrolheads are the ones who are not interested in social media lol.

We need a promotion campaign but it's going to be an uphill battle to gain more members.

Note: That I have banned gmail signups to fight spam. I might re-enable it from time to time but most of the members we get are spammers. If you have any friends who would like to join the forum, send me a PM and I will allow gmail signups for the duration.

I too use Xenforo and enabled Captcha and tries few other things but it messed with genuine registrations too somehow so disabled it. Now our admins/mods do manual review and approval. For every 1 genuine request we get 8-10 bot requests.
We do have few tech enthusiast, will check with them if they are interested to become member here.

I think one strength of forums like Team-BHP is that there are a lot of quality reviews of cars which a lot of people are interested in. Perhaps we should also do something like that, write detailed and high-quality reviews.

This is correct. Also with advent of AI tools, many solutions are received without even asking a real human.

Reels and vlogging becoming more popular than text based sites. This is sad but technology is moving to that way.

Yes, without original content it would be tough to survive.

People should come is the expectation but what is the USP that TDF offers now? During it's prime days TDF used to have so many competitions, where are they now and what are they doing now?

Some college campus tech fest partnerships, OC challenges, incentives/rewards in some manner may be....begs monetary investment. Is the management ready or eager to do that?

India is just knocking on the door of online gaming. If government is bringing a bill means, it's becoming serious business now. Other than Digit there is hardly any brands catering dedicatedly here. SKOAR can grow I believe. More strategic partnerships needed.
