lcdmoniter vs lcd tv

hiii every one
i was planning to buy a lcd for my new house preferbly more30 inch but i heard that there r two types of lcd tv one is lcd tv and another one is moniter used in media centre pc.
i have heard that we can buy a lcd moniter instead of a tv to save money and put an external spekar and a tv tuner as we alll lcd do nt have nice quality od speakars

is it true that lcd moniter as cheaper than lcd tv


and can i buy a lcd moniter and put an external speakar for tv and i can also use it for my ocmputer


can we do this modefication and is it wroth to to save money by doing this modefication and has anyy compilication

how much will i save and which compnay should i buy

LCD TV is cheaper than an LCD monitor (for the same size) but it also has a lower resolution. You can see TV on either of the 2 but you can only use a LCD monitor to work on the computer.
If you want to see TV and work on the comp a LCD monitor, preferably 24" and above is recommended. A Dell 24" LCD comes for about 40-42k.
