I want to buy a LCD monitor for my PC. My main requirement is watching movies and TV.
My budget is Rs 13000. The size should be preferably 22 Inches.
I have a few doubts regarding LCD monitors.
1)Will a FullHD LCD monitor perform well without a good graphics card? I have a intel onboard 128MB graphics card, 1GB RAM and Intel Pentium Dual Core 1.6GHZ processor.
2)What is the advantage of an HDMI input? I might upgrade to a good Graphics card and start gaming (which I have currently left as it was hurting my studies!) again in the near future.
In that case, will the HDMI input be superior to a DVI input?
3)Is there any compatibility issue of external TV tuner Cards with Widescreen monitors? Such as stretching, etc?
4)What is the expected lifetime of an LCD monitor?
Please recommend some good models. I have heard of BenQ E2200HD and Samsung 2233SW. Are there good monitors other than those meeting my requirements?
