Laptop within 32k

I want the best possible lappy within 32K. Strictly 32K
and pls dont ask me to increase it as it is not for me.

And are AMD based lappy good enough ?

3) Which country will you buying this notebook? India, from Navi Mumbai

4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like? Does not matter. Since it is for a girl, pls count on looks and brand. No HCL.

5) What are the primary tasks will you be performing with this notebook? SKYPE, Matlab, VHDL, Simulations etc, HD movies and mini games. And all other girly kinda stuff.

6) Will you be taking the notebook with you to different places, leaving it on your desk or both? Home and office

7) Will you be playing games on your notebook? If so, please state which games or types of games? mini flash games. May be IGI or Maxpayne

8) How many hours of battery life do you need? Longer the better

9) Would you prefer to see the notebooks you're considering before purchasing it or buying a notebook on-line without seeing it is OK? Has not decided yet. MAy be from shop.

10) What OS do you prefer? Windows (XP or Vista or Windows 7), Mac OS, Linux, etc. XP, since some of the softwares will be using will run in XP only.

Screen Specifics

11) What screen resolution(s) would you prefer? Should be clear enough

I need with a good webcam as Skype is must.

i have bought same model of asus recently... Nd believe me, i m more dan satisfied by its performence nd solid style nd feel...
But for a girl, u may want to cnsider sony...
But difference is its processor...

One Point to clear out....
Asus has matte finish LCD LED type screen. Anti glare type.
Bdw i am very fond of non glare screen, since it gives you better vision without reflection of external light....
Choices are individual.

Asus P series is business series actually, so the build quality is very good.
And yes some people don't find Anti glare screen to be good but in reality is good for our eyes

I also like anti glare screen. Though pictures seems to be much clearer in the other one, reflection is a huge problem in them.
