a) I want a 1Gb graphic card along with a 3 year warranty

PS: Read all the forums before posting, just felt overwhelmed and confused. Simply put I need a laptop with more than 14 inch screen, 1 GB graphic card, 3 year warranty and under 35K net.

~I apologize in advance if members feel I have wasted anyone's time. Really in need of some help

~I had an awesome R61 earlier, worked for 5 years and now its motherboard's gone Kaput. I can also invest 13k in it and get it back to working condition. what say you gurus :)

you'll have to go for extended warranty scheme to get 3yr warranty as most if not all comes with just 1yr warranty. that makes your budget around 30-32k. now for 30k, you can have excellent laptops for office work but will fail miserably in gaming. Your best bet it to wait for Ivy Bridge based Core i3s to appear here. Those will give you a cheap laptop that can run most games.

^You stole my opinion Sam ;)

@OP- Wait for ivy bridge availability. Why ivy bridge? Because it comes with HD4000 which is good enough to satisfy you and kick your '1GB' card.
Then pick a Vaio i3 based config.
Why Vaio? It offers one of the cheapest extended warranty, 2.5k for another 2 years. Total would be just around 35k.

+1 on that....

Or if the OP can compromise on warranty extension part then the best option for him is Samsung NP300E5Z-S08IN

This laptop sounds awesome. But any clue if I can buy extended warranty from Flipkart, Couldn't find anything on the website.
