Laptop Speaker querries:

hello people,
i have got a laptop with a built-in 2.1 stereo sound card. i also have a seperate 5.1 frontech sound card .
can i add this 5.1 sound card to my laptop so as to get the 5.1 channel output from the laptop?

i dont think a normal sound card will work in a laptop, laptop have limited upgradation. things like HDD, ram can be upgraded, but graphics card, sound card etc cant. still wait 4 other replies b4 u conclude anything.

ok..now tell me i have a quadrophonic speakers. how do i use it with this inbuilt 2.1 sound card of the laptop?

quadrophonic speaker speakers have only one input , so no probs with that one

But adding 5.1 soundcard ?? use USB 5.1ch sound card though its little expensive i think so

i am not getting u. i am elaborating myself:
i have frontech sound card with 'rear out'. 'front out' and 'central out' options.
will i able to add this card with the laptop? or any other card for the purpose?
