    I want to purchase a laptop (NOTE BOOK) upto Rs 64,000.

    MUST features:
    Core 2 Duo Processor -- More than 1.8 Ghz.
    DDR2 RAM -- 2 GB or More.
    Upto 13.6" Screen only -- 13" -14" CCFL or LED.
    Graphics Card -- Dedicated 128 or more memory
    WebCam -- 1.3 MP or more.
    Hard Disk -- 7200 RPM 250Gb or more
    Biometric Security, ie, FingerPrint Reader.

    Bluetooth -- Internal
    Wi-Fi -- Internal
    Card reader -- Internal
    USB Slots -- 1 or 2

    Weight -- LESS than 2 Kg
    Battery -- 9 Cells
    Battery Life -- More than 4 Hours

    well, the lappy in ur said budget wud be a Sony Vaio (i dnt think it has a finger print read, i may be wrong though) but it has jus 128 MB of GPU also,


    a HP DV4t lappy (model: 1242tx) ha all the above features (including finger print reader) with sum bonus like:

    HDD: 320 GB (as compared to ur requirement of 250GB)
    GPU: 512 MB nVIDIA 9200
    RAM: 3GB (expandable to 8GB)
    TV Tuner card
    Dual head fone jack
    at a prie of Rs. 52K (+taxes) :)

    an upgraded studio 15 or basic config of studio xps 16
