For mba in india. Two years hard and fast use. (College have stated that business range laptops would be ideal. But not sure I want one coz of the cost concerned plus is it really need? Anyone with bschool experience please chip in)

I am leaning towards dell vostro as it fulfils both the criteria of being a business serious model plus in my budget range. But is it too obsolete a machine?
I play an occasional roleplaying games or two but not much.
