Try the Lenovo Essential G505s (59-380146), currently available at 37.99K in Flipkart.

It is coming with the Richland based AMD A10-5750M Quad Core APU with 4MB L2 Cache and a speed of 2.5 GHz speed (3.5 GHz Turbo) with integrated HD 8650G (384 Cores with 512 MB Shared memory) and HD 8570M 2GB dedicated card. Also it is having 8GB of Ram and 1 TB of HDD.
The performance of this processor is more or less equivalent to an 3rd Gen i5.

Buddy, most of the sub 40K laptops from Dell use WLEDdisplay which is having poor quality than normal LED backlit displays. Don't go by the fancy names used by the companies to highlight their display technology. At your budget, most of the Laptops come with 1366X768 TN panels display and offer more or less same quality and generally better than WLED display. In WLED, a single White led is used for backlit whereas normal LED uses 3 separate sources of light, RED, Green and Blue to create different shades of white. So obviously they actually offer better colour reproduction and grey colour levels.

If a discrete card is not required then HP ProBook 4540s is a good option.
For a notebook with discrete card something like HP Pavilion-15-e034TX would do.
Lenovo g505s has more storage space but 4 cell battery.i5 3230/10m processors are much better than a10 5750m as far as processing power is concerned.

SONY 15E which you have already considered is best in your budget, plus it has the best screen to compete with others.
