you mean to say keylogger??
if yes..
then.. theres only one way to know if theres one installed..
you need to get a software.. which would scan for any changes in files edited as you type something.. cant remember the name of the software.. others might be able to help you with that
good luck

I have a doubt regarding keloggers, if i am browsing in a internet parlour, how i would be able to know whether any keyloggers are being emplyed or not.

i generally give a look at the task manager to see if any unwanted processes are running; though i do not understand what process would represent a keylogger:D

Further in many internet parlours they use win 98 - how can i look at the task manager in that case??

I read this is one of the magazines don't remember the author.
Type out some lenghty text of random characters in a notepad. Now search for those characters using search feature. If a keylogger is present in the system. You will find the file to which the keylogger writes, if present.
