- Updated MP4 splitter to build 2005-10-30
- Updated Matroska splitter (Haali) to build 2005-10-30
- Removed Matroska splitter (Gabest)
- Removed Matroska muxer (Gabest)
- Added Fraunhofer MP3 Encoder (ACM) version 3.3.2
- Updated LAME MP3 Encoder to version 3.97b1
- Added LameDropXPd version 3.97b1
- Updated QuickTime Alternative to version 1.65
- Updated Real Alternative to version 1.45
- Updated AC3 (ffcHandler) to version 1.2
- Updated Ogg Vorbis DLLs with aoTuVb4 versions
- Removed Sherlock
- Restructured components screen and profiles
- Moved most VFW/ACM codecs from system32 to install folder
- Intel Indeo and I.263 files and registry keys will not be replaced or uninstalled. This should hopefully prevent problems with certain TV card, webcam and digital camera software.
- Fixed some missing shortcuts on Windows 98/ME
- Added detection of broken codecs and broken DirectShow filters
- Changed icons

Because it take control over everything I use.
I have an old PC and ffdshow is not optimised for old pcs. Even softwares like Ulead DVD Movie factory show errors.
I use many such softwares and many of them crashed because of ffdshow.
Movies are seen horribly frame by frame in Nero Showtime and Windows Media player.
Everything get problematic along with some other problems make me reinstall the OS.
