Joomla + SMF

Well i am running an forum based on SMF anf wanted to integrate it with Joomla. I downloaded the bridge but there seems to be a mismatch betwwen the mod_smf_registration(SMF registration component) and
com_smf(SMF main component).
I was having trouble, will be glad if sum1 can help

is that a version mismatch ?Which version of Joomla and SMF are you using ? What's the error ur getting ?

Well i am using SMF 1.1 rc2 and Joomla 1.08[sunshade]
I tried reading all the manuals and followed them.
Let me give it another try, though if sum1 can help via Y! it ll be gr8.

Well now the login is possible but each time a use rlogs on he is derectly transmitted to the forum and he cant come back to the main page.
how do i rectify this?
