its about securing web page

i made a website for LAN use in my college . there is a computer on which i have saved webpages and website run through that computer . i want that a person sitting on that computer should not be able edit my .html and .php webpages . they are not protected because anyone can see them . i cannot use folder lock because then wamp(apache) sever cannot find the webpages.

I don't find other means except host your complete website from a "CD". I mean hosting everything from "CD Drive" and databases from the same computer from variable pages. but the problem will be u cannot change the files but you can change the database for controlling the contents.

What OS is running on the computer? For Windows NT based systems and linux based systems, you should be able to send permissions for restricting access to the files and run the LAN server in your user account...
