Right off the assembly line
Guys i assembled a machine for my frnd whos put a audio recording studio in Bangalore.
The config of the machine is

AMD Athlon64 3200+ {754pin}
2 gigs of Transend DDR memory
ASUS K8NE-Delux mobo
120 gb Seagate SATA Baraccuda
36 gb Seagate Cheetha(SCSI) (50 pin)
Sony DVD writer
2 nos 17'' mon Samsung

Even with such a good config i think its runng slow, means not to a machine of its calibre with tonnes of RAm on it and the Scsi HDD makes a lot of noise,Is it a charecteristic of the Hard drv or is it faulty???
i hav seen old scsi hdd's makin noise but even this one???
Is this the factor which is responsible for slow down of the machine
I hav disabled "AMd cool $ quite" but still not a much boost
it goes slow when renderin a huge wave file.Of course it has an ext-snd card ie..Digidesign pro tools which connects through firewire that consumes a lot of processor and memory but even then does it go slow with even such a lot of RAM on it

Let me know plzz
