Is official gingerbread is out for galaxy fit

if yes then how can i update my firmware or should i visit a service center

MOD's please move it to appropriate section if its violate any specific rule

Well after a bit of Google I have read this and it seems pretty comprehensive

• Samsung Galaxy Fit [UPDATED 5/16/11]: Samsung has confirmed its Galaxy Fit phone will receive the Gingerbread upgrade. The company has not, however, given a firm time frame for the rollout.

seems like i have to wait for it

actually i was looking for voice chat on gtalk and that is possible only on android 2.3
currently i am using yahoo for voice chat but gtalk would be good

my brother will be in india for a month so during that period i can manage upgrade's .... else it would be difficult for him to update firmware
