hi everyone,

iam going to upgrade my pc next week.

my current system- intel pentium dual core e5700 3.00ghz
gigabyte g41 chipset
2gb ddr3 ram
500 gb hd

my upgrading system- intel i3 3220 3.3ghz
gigabyte h61 s2p mobo
corsair 4gb ddr3 ram
saphhire hd 6670 ddr3
corsair vs450

this is my upgrade in my bugdet.i play games at 1280*720p for medium -high settings

will i notice good performance?

better go for a midrange GPU like 6770. I have a very similar GPU and most recent games can't be played at high at HD resolution.

It will be a good upgrade,but for playing games at better settings get at least an hd7750 or hd6770.
Change the motherboard to GIGABYTE GA-B75M-D3H@4.2k or else preferably get Gigabyte GA-H61M-D2H in place of gigabyte h61-s2p.

why d2h as it has 2 extra memory slots?

^^Gigabyte GA-H61M-D2H has more display port options.It has HDMI,VGA,DVI ports whereas gigabyte h61-s2p has only VGA as an option.
