IR driver and IE6 problem

i have installed service pack2 and after that i am unable to use my irda(infrared usb device ) .... i cant able to install device driver from the given cd . is there any patches out there ??? where can i find the specific updated driver for usb irda device (tech-com product)


then another problem i dont know off lately i am unable to use IE6 (with service pack2) . ihave tried to reinstall IE6 but in vain. i get an message the page cant be displayed eventhough i am still connected to net.i have tried to change the setting in the properties but it also in vain. then i reverted back using default setting.i use norton 2005. i used long horn tranformation pack but i have removed it ... what could be the problem ANY ONE THERE WHO KNOWS THE ANSWER?????

go to mycomputer
go to device manager
select the irda port
unistall it
then reinstall it



the second is the timeout problem

which service do you use to conenct to the internet ?

i have unistalled it and then when i tried to reinstall , i cant , the os is just not taking the corresponding files from the given cd (irda )

and then for IE6 .... i use dial up (bsnl) how to work over this time out ???

run it & attach your ird in computer & connect with internet
go to option
identify unknown device . this option search automatically suitable new updated driver for your ird
