I have a basic question on the Inverter. If the Inverter device is just connected to mains and powered on, (no battery and load connected at this stage) I believe at least its front panel LED indicating ‘Mains On’ should glow na?
There was one available (but not connected) in my new rented house. I asked the building electrician to connect the same. He filled the battery with distilled water and got the inverter connected to mains, its battery & load. Its Sukam 600 VA or so. However none of front panel indicators are glowing as if its completely dead. Electrician said I should wait for battery to charge for 12 hrs and he left! Despite 24 Hrs there’s no sign of life in it. I have checked that the front panel Button is ON and the fuse at back panel is intact and not blown. That electrician is not coming to check again saying that he has connected everything correct!
I shall raise a ticket with the company but just wondering if my above understanding is correct.
