Internet Problem - Help me ASAP

Sorry if this is a very silly question.

Well, I am not able to connect to internet. I use a broadband connection. Every time I do so I get "error 814". I have Windows Vista 64bit Home premium installed.

At first I thought that the modem or sumthing was faulty. But, every time I connect in the Ubuntu OS, internet works fine - without any settings or whatsoever ...

Someone please help me ...

Well Error 814 mens thr is sum prblm wid Ethernet Connectivity. It seems dat ur NIC gone or thr is sum prblm wid NIC Drivers. Juss reinstall the drivers and try again.
