Internet Explorer 9 not installing

I tried to install IE 9 after downloading from the net. I had to stop installation midway as I didnot backup my favourites. Now, when I try to install IE 9 it shows another installation running cannot install like this. IE 9 doesnot show in control panel, so no way to uninstall it. I am using windows 7 Professional.

Kindly help.

reboot and then try.
or task manager->processes->kill the ie9 setup process (if any)
or clear the temp folder.
