I just want to uninstall it and then reinstall it.
the error comes sometime and not always but it affects the installation of a setup file. that is a setup file stops abrubtly showing the same error.
don't have genuine xp for ie7.
__________
this is the error in detail:-

" Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
" If you are in the middle of something, the information you are working on might be lost."
"For more information about this error, click here."
DEBUG CLOSE

Back to School Mr. Bean !
Try IEradicator. I've used it long ago in Win 98 and it worked fine! I guess it should work with IE6 too.
