1.Mention your OS, 32 bit or 64 bit
2.the ISP name
3.how you are connecting to the internet (wired broadband or wireless).
4.Are you using any dongle to connect to internet. If yes then which operator's sim you are using.
5.were you able to connect to the internet earlier or is it the first time. If you were able to connect then from how long.
Answer these questions first. There could be a possible hundred reasons but your answers can help us to filter.
Btw check these.
1) loose connection. Check your cat 5/6 cable as well as the phone wire (in case using an adsl connection).
2) check ping. press windows+R. Type cmd and hit enter. Now in the opened window, type "ping 8.8.8.8" without the quotes and mention HERE the findings.
3. Try to use another pc/laptop if available to check your connection.
