Wait till 22 April. If Intel reduces its processor price, then only Intel platform can be considered. Already motherboard prices too high, and hope if some reduction in processor can make for that
For Rs 6000 you will hardly get a 965 motherboard and that too without onboard graphics. Whereas in AMD platform mobos with ATI X1250 onboard graphics & DVI & HDMI are available as low as 3600 by Jetway, 4500 by Biostar & 5100 by Asus & MSI. So hold on your obsession with Intel atleast till 22 april

The motherboard for that budget range would be Intel DG965RY with the 965 based chipset & featuring a X3000 based onboard video solution.Not the best in graphics solution but could pull off on low resolutions until you purchase a graphic card.Even I am looking out for an upgrade & considering the same chipset.But since everybody is so anxious about the price cut on Intel processors even I am willing to hold on for a while.If it does not happen within the next 2 week in India then chuck it will go on with my purchase.
