At present I have Windows Xp installed in my system but i want format my both hard drives and again reinstall xp so what should I do. Also I want to take backup of my few files as they are quit important but i also dont have any writer or or any backup device so is not possible to take backup on one of the hard disk. if so how. do give me complete information

Put all u the files u want to backup and zip it using WinZip or any other compression tool and place this in the drive which has OS XP.Then format the drive which doesnt have the OS using tools in Control Panel, and then copy the zipped backup to this formatted drive.
Then using bootable floppy or CD u format the drive which has OS installed and then install OS in this drive.Do not again format the drive which contain the backup file.

just few step:
zip..entire data that u wanna backup..winrar is best
copy it to another drive (other than in which u wanna stall xp)
say u have c: and d:
u wanna stall xp on c:
copy ur data on d:
boot from win98 boot disk..
now ..at a:type...format c:\q\s
boot with winxp cd install xp...
once it get stall..now
copy all relevent data back..to c:
format d:
