Installing OS through a card reader.

Swimming, eh??
I am aware that one can install an OS using a pen drive.
Now, I don't have one and I want to change my 32 bit windows 7 to 64 bit.
I have a card reader and a 4 GB memory card. Is there any way I can install an OS using those?

just insert the card reader into the USB port and create a bootable installer. then you can use it to install the OS.

Install Windows 7 From USB

A card reader in a card reader is equivalent to a pen drive for as far as a PC reads it. Although I have not used it till now. :p
So just go ahead, and keep us posted about your progress! :D

I have installed Linux through the sdcard connected to computer through mobile phone. It works the same as pen drive.

I tried, boots Windows installer fine, but please don't use low-class card reader (as they are in market a lot priced 20-40 INR), they will heat-up and stop working in mid (happened to me, so alerting to you)
